Rock Town is a song dedicated and written about the men and women in the mining industry. Rock Town’s lyrics speak to the passion and dedication of the men and women working in the mines everywhere. It highlights the intense work of miners and portrays the long workdays before the sun comes up until long after the sun goes down. Berrio hit’s it on the nail when he belts out lyrics that state “(mining)...It’s the closest thing to hell a man can get.” The edgy lyrics and the up-beat tempo make it the perfect anthem for miners everywhere.
Rock Town is one of the first videos ever shot underground in a working mine. The video also features incredible visual shots from a helicopter hovering over slag and gravel pits and includes the actual men and women who work underground in the mines.
The video was directed by Adrian Cox from Rugged Media and captured the emotions, the rugged environment and the intense dedication of the miners in a HD video that will acknowledge the pride and passion of people in the mining industry.
CMT will start airing “Rock Town” during the week of February 15-19 2010....And will be posted on Larry’s website on February 16th 2010.
